Easy Breezy History
Tired of walking? Imagine yourself cruising under the good tropical sun with the island breeze on your face.
DURATION: 2 Hours
Glide through the specially designed pavement around the Civic District of Singapore on a Segway miniPRO , making this tour a breezy, sweat-free one. Along the way, pass through historical buildings built in the 19th century after Singapore was founded by Sir Thomas Stamford Raffles.
Let us tell you the stories behind these magnificently restored buildings. Hear what the Singapore River represents and how traders used to stay around the Boat Quay and Clarke Quay areas, engaged in batter trades as well as stories of coolies who left their hometown in search of a better life in Singapore.
Take a break by indulging in a cup of nicely brewed local coffee, accompanied by toasted bread, sandwiched with a sweet traditional jam named "Kaya", before heading back to Merlion Park
